This blend offers a delicious assortment of flavours, textures, colours, and leaf shapes ideal for sandwiches, salads, and garnishes. During the summer months, Salad Leaves Speedy Mixed will produce delectable 'salad leaves' in just about 25 days, but it can also be sown indoors all year round. Containing Salad Rocket Uber, Greek Cress, Mizuna CN, Mustard Red Lace, Mustard Pizzo, and Pak Choi Green Stem, this mix is a true delight for the palate. Supplied as 1 x packet of 500 seeds.To sow, simply direct sow the salad leaves outdoors in the summer or in an unheated greenhouse or on a windowsill all year round. Use pots or trays filled with moist, multipurpose compost. Grow the salad leaves in well-prepared, fertile, moist soil in either full sun or semi-shade. Sow the seeds thinly at a depth of 1cm (1/2") in drills spaced 23cm (9") apart in soil that has been finely raked to create a fine tilth.If sown thinly, no thinning should be necessary for 'baby salad leaves'. However, for larger salad leaves, thin the seedlings to 5cm (2in) apart. Enjoy the bounty of fresh, home-grown salad leaves in no time!.
