Maxtex is a high denier synthetic fabric that offers a good balance of protection and ergonomics. RST only uses full-grain Cowhide that offers excellent abrasion and tear strength. Each hide is visually inspected and batch tested before selection by one of their in-house craftsmen. For additional rider comfort, Samtex stretch material has been included along with a removable thermal full mesh lining and a fixed comfort mesh inner lining. There is also adjustment in the Waist for improved fit on each rider.For rider protection, CE level 1 Knee armour has been included, and a pocket has been included for Hip Armour to be added if required. Due to the high quality protection included, these Pants have a A CE Certification Rating meaning that the protection on offer is deemed suitable for urban riding, with Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) requiring one second of abrasion resistance at 265.3rpm and half a second at 147.4rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet).Additional features include reflective logos being used which increase rider visibility, max zips used throughout and a connection zip for use with RST Riding Pants.
