These features will help improve the fit and feel of the Pants, and improve comfort whilst on the Bike.For rider safety, CE level 2 protectors have been included for the Knees and Hips, and the Pants themselves have been awarded CE AAA Rating. CE level 2 means that the maximum transmitted force must be below 9 kN, and no single value shall exceed 12 kN, whilst a AAA rating is the highest level, demanding four seconds of abrasion resistance with the machine spinning at 707.4rpm (the equivalent of 120km/h) in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees), two seconds at 442.1rpm (about 75km/h) in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and one second at 265rpm (around 45km/h) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs).Additional features include a zip and press-stud fastening on the front, a connection zip which is 270 degree for use with Ixon Riding Jackets, and zipped calves for a safe and secure closure, as well as improved comfort inside boots.
