MaxTex is a high denier synthetic fabric that offers a good balance of protection and ergonomics. Ballistic is a densely woven, high weight synthetic fabric using fine fibres that offer extreme abrasion resistance along with cut and tear strength. The SinAqua waterproof lining makes this jacket ideal for the touring rider when they get caught in the rain. This jacket comes with a handy removable thermal 100g inner lining for those days on the journey when you get caught in the heat and need to cool down a little. it also has a fixed HD mesh inside the jacket. The cuffs on the Endurance jacket are made with a Velcro cuff adjuster which can be tightened to stop any water running up your arms whilst out and about. The collar is made from neoprene which makes it a comfortable fit for longer wears. The zips are made using SAB. This jacket comes with a lot of ventilation located all over, this allows for the rider to stay cool when in the heat whilst still holding it's waterproofness. This ventilation is included in areas such as the 2 front air vents with an internal opening system, 2 rear air vents and 2 collar / sleeve adjustment vents. This jacket comes with the RST connection zip meaning that it can be connected to any other RST textile jeans to stop any rising whilst riding.This jacket comes with a lot of options to adjust the jacket to suit the riders fit. these include the waist, gusset, bicep and forearm. The Endurance jacket also comes with a staggering 7 outer pockets to help hold anything you may be carrying with yourself, these pockets also include 2 hand warmers for when you stop off on that colder day. It also comes with 5 inner pockets just to add to the endless places you can store your belongings.The jacket is Certified to CE rating AA which means the protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs). The shoulders and elbows are also rated to Level 1 which means the maximum transmitted force must be below 18 kN, and no single value shall exceed 24 kN.
