The Jeans have been constructed using hard-wearing Cordura Denim which has added stretch for exceptional comfort. The Brighton's have been carefully tailored with a tapered fit for that they are comfortable all day, on and off the bike.For rider protection, CE approved Knox MICRO-LOCK armour for the Knees and Hips have been supplied as standard, and there are invisible armour pockets with external access for easy removal, great for when you are out and about and don't need the armour off the bike. The MICRO-LOCK armour comes with a 5-year guarantee when registered, and due to the high amounts of protection on offer, the Jeans are CE approved to EN17092- 3 Class A - meaning that the protection on offer is deemed suitable for urban riding, with Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) requiring one second of abrasion resistance at 265.3rpm and half a second at 147.4rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet). The Jeans are also partially lined with DuPont Kevlar Fibre in the Knees and Seat only. DuPont Kevlar is a heat-resistant and strong synthetic fibre which is highly cut/abrasion resistant. DuPont Kevlar is used in a variety of clothing, accessories, and equipment to help make them safer and more durable. With five times the strength of steel based on an equal weight basis, it s the go-to fibre for protective apparel and accessories. The material has then been covered in a soft, breathable Cotton for all day comfort.Additional features include leather branding, four deep pockets and YKK zips used throughout.
