Description
Faction’s newest addition to the hugely successful Prodigy line up is the 0.0, a playful and effortless introduction to the world of freeskiing. The shape is dialled for making skiing easier with clever features such as the elliptic Radius Sidecut making it simple to pivot as well as quick in to the turn, and Surf Zones that blend the rocker and taper perfectly to create smooth handling whatever the conditions. XL 2.5mm edges and the Micro-Cap Construction ensure good performance is matched with durability.Terrain Type & Ability LevelTerrain Type Lots of time in parks, especially in the domes and dryslopes of the UK. It has the dimesions to ski all mountain too, whether shredding pistes or ripping around some fresh snow.Skier TypeYounger or lighter skiers looking for a flex that will work with them, not hold them back, but from a full blown freestyle ski. Most of the time will be spent in the park or riding around looking for features to hit.OverviewShapeA skinnier tail width than in the tip provides ultimate downhill performance for attacking the mountain, but still allowing you to release the tail when you want to. A twin tip in the tail encourages playfulness and freestyle attitude, meaning you can ride switch without a problem. 85mm in the waist keeps the ski nimble and quick underfoot, with enough width to provide a stable platform. RockerTip and Tail Rocker uses traditional camber underfoot for response and good edge grip, with rocker at the tip and tail to improve manoeuvrability by aiding turn initiation and completion. CoreA lightweight Fusion core allows for playful and effortless riding all over the mountain.ConstructionMicro-cap construction is a hybrid of two construction techniques: a premium, sandwich sidewall construction fused with a lightweight, durable cap construction. With micro-cap, the sandwich construction provides awesome edge hold and torsional stability while the ski’s topsheet wraps around and meets the sidewall, protecting the fragile joint that can be prone to chipping.Key FeaturesSurf ZonesSurf Zone unites Rocker and Taper design to make sure these two key features work in harmony. Rocker provides float and facilitates pivoting, while a Tapered Tip moves the widest part of the ski closer to the centre and removes unwanted hooking. The right amount of both, in the right place, to promise a floaty, seamless, surfy ride in all conditions.XL 2.5mm edgesThicker edges mean increased durability and impact resistance, crucial for a ski that is built to test the rule book. elliptic Radius Sidecutelliptical Radius Sidecut is made up of a longer radius underfoot and shorter radii in the tip and tail of the ski. The long radius underfoot means you can pivot faster and easier, while a shorter radius in the tip and tail result in easier turn initiation. This sidecut allows for a wide variety of turns lengths, angles and mounting positions.Technical SpecificationsSize (cm)Tip Width (mm)Waist Width (mm)Tail Width (mm)Radius (m)Weight (g)15011785109121610157117851091316601641178510915171017111785109161760General InformationSkier Ability: Novice/Intermediate/AdvancedTerrain Type: Freestyle Rocker: Tip/Tail RockerRadius: MediumBase: SinteredBindings: Ski sold flatDIN: n/aConstruction: Semi SidewallCore: WoodDemo: NoSizing Description: eye level for the maximum ease of spinning and rail tricks, but you need to go bigger for extra stability or speed and for all mountain versatility, especially important on the wider models that are designed to spend more time away from the park.
