On offer is this lovely old fork. It's in good condition overall, the silver plating shines up well still - light ware over the handle decoration where the base nickel silver (brassy tone) is starting to show through; notable scuffs & scratches all over too commensurate with age but as shown in the photos all adding to the aged charm & character of the piece. It's of traditional form featuring a three tine end which is plain in design. The handle has been beautifully decorated with a Gadroon pattern to both sides which stands out on display. Unmarked for a maker, Sheffield or Birmingham produced, circa late 19th century. It measures 18cm (7 inches) in length & is ready to be used & enjoyed once again!
