What is clever about the car seat, is that when the headrest is raised, the sides adjust automatically too, giving more shoulder room to your growing child. The headrest has 12 positions to choose from, meaning there s a setting to suit your little one.Another clever feature of this headrest is the patented recline function. This helps to prevent your little ones head from tipping forward while sleeping, ensuring it's in the safety zone at all times. It reclines in 3 positions so not only does it ensure your child is safer in the event of a crash, but it also makes it more comfortable to sleep. Cybex have also developed the optimised Linear Side-impact Protection System; this feature is designed to work in the event of a side-impact. The energy-absorbing shell reduces the force of the impact by around 25% - keeping your little one safer!To keep your little one comfy while you are on a drive, there is an integrated air ventilation system which allows the air to circulate through the built-in ventilation holes under the seat cover. So even on hot days, they won't overheat as the air is channelled away through additional ventilation in the backrest. The Z i-Fix has been designed to be used with your vehicle's ISOFIX points, but don't worry if your car doesn't have them or you are swapping the seat between cars with and without as the connectors simply rotate 180° and fold away into the frame when not needed. To allow a better fit in your car the reclining backrest adjusts to suit most cars. If your little ones are mucky pups too, the seat covers are removable and can be machine washed at 30°.
