The harness has a one-handed adjust and has a quick release buckle and chest and buckle pads for extra comfort. Once your child reaches approximately 4 years old the harness can be removed and your child can sit safely in the seat using only the car's standard seat belt and includes a belt positioner so the three-point seatbelt sits in the correct place and holds your child securely in that mode.This high-back booster has side impact protection to keep your child safe in the event of a side-on collision, and the headrest is height adjustable so you can ensure they're both comfortable and protected whatever their age.The seat is strong yet lightweight making it easy and convenient to transfer between cars if required. Please note, the Friendship seat can also be used as a backless booster seat from 4 Years by removing the back, but we do not recommend this unless your little one no longer fits comfortably in the high-back configuration or it's used in a car that it smaller as they will not get the benefit of the additional upper body, head and neck protection in backless booster mode.
