These little festive gnomes are called gonks. Thought to stem from Nordic and Scandinavian mythology, these creatures love cold weather and partaking in a big of hygge. According to folklore, if you welcome them into your cosy home and treat them well, they'll bring good luck. That's going to make nibbling their little heads off this Christmas a bit of a tricky one! Choc on Choc, based in Rode Village just outside Bath, was founded by father and daughter team Kerr Dunlop (inventor of the hedgehog boot wiper) and Flo Broughton in 2003. They are now an award-winning independent chocolatier, producing some of the quirkiest and most adorable gifts on the market.
