Reese was a dairy farmer and shipping foreman working for Milton S. Hershey. In 1923 he set up his own business from the basement of his home in Hershey, Pennsylvania, and created his now world-famous Peanut Butter Cups. Reese's merged back into the Hershey brand and soon became their bestseller and the fourth-most-popular candy brand on Earth.
