Thought to be made circa the 1890s, this Victorian bar brooch is a luxurious style with a rich history spanning over 100 years. Made from 15ct yellow gold, it features alternating diamond and sapphire gemstones in a rounded bar design. Estimated diamond weight 0.10ct. Diamonds graded colour G and clarity SI2. Colour G which falls into the following colour range: Near Colourless G-J. More common than D-F colour diamonds, the G-J diamonds provide a great value. Similar to D-F diamonds, these diamonds are best highlighted in white gold or platinum as the white colour of the metal enhances the colourlessness of the stone. Clarity SI2 - Slightly Included (SI1 and SI2). Inclusions are visible under 10x magnification only but not to the naked eye.
