A stunning plant for the back of borders, you will see tall erect spikes covered in large 4cm pure white flowers. Seldom requiring support these tall flowers will bloom from June to August, perfect for cottage and wildlife gardens.Sow April to May at 20-30C (68-86F) on the surface of a good free-draining, damp seed compost. Cover with a fine sprinkling of compost or vermiculite. Place in a propagator or seal container inside a polythene bag until after germination which usually takes 14-30 days. Do not exclude light at any stage as this is beneficial to germination. Pricking out (Transplanting): Transplant when large enough to handle into 7.5cm (3in) pots. Planting out: Gradually acclimatise to outdoor conditions before planting out after all risk of frost 60cm (24in) apart.
