Description
The buds of this dependable cottage garden plant are a fiery red colour, which open up to show orange tubular flowers that gradually turn yellow. Kniphofia uvaria has striking red hot poker flowers that stand tall on stems above its evergreen strap-like foliage. It is easy to grow and maintain, and it adds a dramatic touch to summer borders. Its torch-like blooms are a magnet for bees and look great as cut flowers. Height: 120cm (48in). Spread: 60cm (24in).
