When you see the R&D Strato Bib Tights they resemble a skinsuit but with long legs. However, they're very much designed for the coldest months of the year. The legs are made from brushed-back Thermodrytex Plus to keep warmth reliably locked in. You'll then notice what appear to be 'over shorts' across the thighs and crotch area. This is, in fact, a layer of windproof WindWick LT. Attached along the sides and top, but not at the lower leg seams, this fabric provides windchill protection but at the same time, the unique construction maintains excellent flexibility. Meanwhile, the upper body features a ribbed fabric, designed to trap warmth while also optimising moisture wicking. Because of this style of upper, there are no bib straps to cause any pressure or irritation and the all-in-one design also prevents any cold air creeping in. Total Comfort Pro Seat Pad Inside the tights is Sportful's TC Pro seat pad. From short intense rides to all-day base-building rides you'll enjoy support in all the right places. Taking all the innovations from the Total Comfort pad, Sportful reduces the padding depth slightly, making the pad suited to riders who prefer a thinner feel.
