This is a full-bodied coffee with a refreshing, citrusy hint of acidity. It's marked by notes of chocolate, forest berries and citrus fruit.The famous Mount Elgon in Uganda is surrounded by forests, bubbly brooks and roaring mountain waterfalls. The locals believe that Mount Elgon is where the African gods live: whenever they're in a good mood, they send some cooling rain down to the people below. The lands surrounding the mountain have been fertile for centuries now, so it's probably fair to assume that the gods of Mount Elgon are doing just fine up there. The Bugisu people know how to take advantage of this divine goodwill too, and use it to grow Uganda's finest coffee in the area around the mountain. Who knows: maybe it's delicious coffee that keeps the gods of Elgon in such good spirits?The supply of this coffee is extremely low, which is why it belongs to our Limited Edition line.Due to its exceptional quality and taste, this coffee is marked as Specialty.
