MaxTex is a high denier synthetic fabric that offers a good balance of protection and ergonomics. It is also constructed from SinAqua Pro Laminate waterproof lining, SinAqua Pro is an ultra-durable three-layer waterproof and breathable membrane which offers exceptional breathability 11500 g/m2/24h and a waterproof rating of over 15000mm/cm3. This jacket includes a removable thermal inner liner along with a fixed quick dry mesh liner. The Velcro cuff adjuster that is on this jacket is ideal to help the rider get that perfect fit and avoid the jacket rising up the arms when stretching out. The collar is made from neoprene and is finished with a soft touch lining. The ventilation on this jacket is in the form of 2 front air vents with 1 rear air vent which allows for the air to smoothly run through the jacket to create a nice air flow. This jacket comes with the RST connection zip meaning that it can be connected to any other RST textile jeans to stop any rising whilst riding.This jacket features adjustment in the waist, gusset, biceps and the forearms to allow the rider to easily make this jacket suited for their comfort. This jacket also features 4 outer pockets to easily store belongings.The Axiom plus is Certified to CE rating AA which means the protection on offer is suited to touring gear. It specifies two seconds of abrasion resistance in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) at 412.6rpm (about 70km/h), one second at 265.3rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and 0.5 seconds at 147.4rpm (the equivalent of around 25kmh) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs). The In&Motion back protector and the shoulder and elbow armour are certified to CE Level 1 which means the maximum transmitted force must be below 18 kN, and no single value shall exceed 24 kN.RST are known for putting rider safety at the forefront of their designs, and the next step was to introduce a range of garments offering enhanced protection - therefore a partnership was made with In&Motion for an integrated Airbag System to be added to products.In&Motion was founded in 2014 by three passionate engineers and 20 employees who were dedicated to wearable airbag systems. The Airbag System is able to detect, protect and perfect. With 1000  analyses/second, the In&box measures the user s every movements to detect a loss of balance. In less than 60 milliseconds, the airbag is inflated at the optimum pressure, protecting the user from impacts. Thanks to the data collected, In&Motion can regularly improve the system and detection strategy in order to better predict falls.This Airbag System is 'real-world ready' as RST have been working with In&Motion to bring in a special 'Road Racing' algorithm dedicated to the Isle of Man TT. This algorithm has been successful due to the partnerships RST have with top factory riders such as Ian Hutchinson, and also travelling marshals who have rigorously tested this technology throughout 2019.The In&Motion In&Box is not supplied with the garment, it will be supplied directly to you within 72 hours once you register with In&Motion. Once registered, there is a monthly subscription of £12.00 per month or £120.00 per year if paid in advance. The subscription can be cancelled and re-activated whenever you like, but upon cancellation of your subscription, you will be required to send the In&Box back to In&Motion to complete the cancellation. The Airbag garment can still be used, but without the In&Box, the Airbag WILL NOT deploy.
