Along with this, this jacket has AquaSeal+ waterproof reinforcement panels. This jacket comes with an antibacterial inner mesh lining and a zip out 120gsm thermal lining which keeps the rider warm at all times. All the zippers featured on this jacket are made using YKK waterproof zippers.This jacket comes covered in different pockets. The two large cargo chest pockets and the two large lower cargo pockets bring back that classic British design. There is a large rear cargo pocket on the lower back which can easily hold items similar size to a map which can be easily accessed. This jacket comes with some smaller pockets included such as the nelson pocket which is located behind the storm flap and a coin pocket which is located on the arm. The removable thermal liner comes with a patch pocket and the fixed lining also comes with a zipped pocket just to add to the countless pockets located on this jacket.This jacket also comes with many added features. The first is a zip off neck guard with a magnetic attachment. This can easily be put on and off and is designed to keep the riders neck warm around the bottom of the helmet. This jacket has vertical vents located on the chest with some added ventilation points on the biceps which help to keep the wearer cooler if out in the sun whilst also keeping this jackets waterproof features. There are adjustment points on the cuffs, forearms, hem and on the waist to ensure that the rider can get the most comfort out of this jacket as possible.The protection on the Merlin Solitude jacket comes in the form of D3O LP1 shoulder and elbow armour which is pre-fitted. D3O Viper stealth back protector which is also pre-fitted. D3O chest protector pockets which are not included. This jacket is certified to CE EN17092 Level 'A'. The protection on offer is deemed suitable for urban riding, with Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees) requiring one second of abrasion resistance at 265.3rpm and half a second at 147.4rpm in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet).
