RST only uses full-grain Cowhide that offers excellent abrasion and tear strength. Each hide is visually inspected and batch tested before selection by one of their in-house craftsmen. There is also a fixed 3D mesh inner lining, along with a Leather race collar and Neoprene race cuffs for additional comfort.For rider protection, CE level 2 protection for the Shoulders and Elbows have been included, along with a CE Level 2 Back protector and TPU shoulder cups. This Jacket has a CE certified rating of AAA - the highest level, demanding four seconds of abrasion resistance with the machine spinning at 707.4rpm (the equivalent of 120km/h) in Zone 1 (Shoulders, Elbows, Hips and Knees), two seconds at 442.1rpm (about 75km/h) in Zone 2 (outer arms, torso, legs and feet) and one second at 265rpm (around 45km/h) in Zone 3 (inner arms, torso and legs).This Jacket uses perforated Leather for ventilation, along with an aerodynamic race hump for stability at high speed and a 360 degree connecting zip for use with RST pants.
