Built around Rome’s advanced UnderWrap 4 baseplate, it delivers near instant power transfer, ensuring that when you need a lightning-fast response, the Targa’s going to have you covered. That lightning fast response mantra is then carried over to the powerful PowerChord Highback. This stiff, supportive design produces minimal distortion under the hardest loads. However, even though the Targa performs at the highest level, it doesn’t sacrifice comfort for performance. The Ultralight Ankle strap, full-length foot pad and sub-base dampening ensure that not only does the Targa ride great, it also feels great.ROMe TARGA TeCHNOLOGYUnderWrap 4 Heel Hoop:The UnderWrap 4 Heel Loop platform features four points of heel hoop connection with two UnderWrap connections in the toe area of the baseplate. The result is a connection that drives power into both edges of the board through added leverage over the binding, while still maintaining the proper side-to-side flex and feel that snowboarding demands.D30 V-Rod SubBase:The V-Rod Baseplate creates a direct connection from your big toe to the lateral side of your heel, while at the same time elevating the corner of the baseplate near your little toe and the opposing corner on the medial side of your heel. This combination delivers a more efficient transfer of power edge to edge whilst still allowing flexibility side to side. This innovative design also improves board flex by reducing the contact patch of the binding on the board. In addition, Rome uses a D30 pad under the baseplate for the highest level of impact absorption available. Compared to standard eVA, D30 absorbs 30% more impact. The result is premium dampening for bigger drops and flatter landings.Ultralight Ankle Strap with PivotMount Max: The Ultralight ankle strap combines an injected eVA pad and with interlocking TPU support band down the middle. This results in a super comfortable ankle strap that strikes the perfect balance of performance and fit. The PivotMount Technology lets you control whether you have a flexible, mid-range or powerful toeside performance profile. To change toeside response, you simply loosen a screw and snap the PivotMount’s arm into different positions. The three primary positions are:1: LOW position for maximum tweak.   2: MID position for a balance of power and freedom (this is the default setting).3: HIGH position for driving max power into your toeside edge.PowerChord Highback:The PowerChord highback is the most powerful highback in the Rome line. It features an asymmetric spine that runs up the highback increasing stiffness at the pressure transfer point, speeding up power transfer through to the edges of the board.
