This E-MTB is equipped with two high-quality carbon rims, which offer fantastic stiffness and strength when climbing as well as no excess grams holding you back when descending down the trails. Reynolds has also kitted out each rim with an asymmetric profile that provides increased toughness and strength through more even spoke tension. This makes it more than capable of handling the speed and torque produced by electric mountain bikes. Another highlight is this version's Super Boost axle spacing, which offers an even wider flange for performance advantages such as increased tyre clearance, greater lateral stiffness, and more stability. Carbon E-MTB Wheelset with Reynolds Hub TRe Hubs The TRE series is designed specifically for the demands of the more refined generation of e-mountain bikes, which allow you to cover steeper terrain in a shorter time, allowing grinders to go further, faster. Since more miles mean greater wear, Reynolds built the robust TRs rims to an e-bike specific hub using 32 e-bike specific spokes and brass nipples.
