For all-season use, the Women's falketind Down Vest is lightweight, versatile and produced with a down750™ fabric; one of the world's highest quality downs and used as a by-product of the food industry (Meaning animals aren't killed purely for their insulation). At 750 to 800 cuin, the vest provides complete warmth whether worn as an outer layer on chilly days or within a complex layering system for total protection. The neck, sides and bottom back of the vest are made with a synthetic insulating fabric to prevent the loss of heat and in the shoulders, Norrona have added a synthetic material for durability. Additional features include hand warming pockets, a chest pocket and an outer shell produced from a 20 denier recycled nylon to stand up to the rigours of the outdoors.
