Pea Hurst Greenshaft (Pisum sativum) is an early to main crop variety with 9-10 peas per pod, held high on the plant for easy picking. An excellent source of folate, vitamin A and vitamin C these peas taste great after being lightly steamed or boiled. You can harvest these plants from May to August. They thrive best in full sunlight and like well-cultivated, fertile soil to grow to their full potential.
