The large, dazzling oval amethyst is rub-over set and surrounded by 24 spectacular brilliant-cut diamonds set in white gold. The head is beautifully crafted from a mix of white and yellow gold, with the shank made from yellow gold, all of which are 18ct hallmarked in Birmingham. The ring is currently finger size P but can be resized to fit your finger. See below for how to have this ring re-sized. The amethyst is estimated to weigh 28.39cts. Total diamond weight estimated to be 1.44cts. The diamond is considered J-L in colour and SI1 - I1 in clarity. Diamond graded J-L Colour falls into the following groups: Near Colourless G-J - More common than D-F colour diamonds, the G-J diamonds provide a great value. Similar to D-F diamonds, these diamonds are best highlighted in white gold or platinum as the white colour of the metal enhances the colourlessness of the stone. Faint Colour K-M - The diamonds in this colour range had a slight hint of yellow which could be detected by the naked eye. The yellow tint of these stones makes them a great choice for a yellow gold frame. Clarity SI1-I1 which falls under the following groups: Slightly Included (SI1 and SI2). Inclusions are visible under 10x magnification only but not to the naked eye. Included (I1, I2, and I3). Inclusions are apparent and can affect transparency and brilliance.
