Description
Being so compact, Magnolia 'Heaven Scent' is the perfect large shrub for small gardens. It enjoys a 'candelabra' habit, which is complemented by a stunning display of bold pink, scented flowers. Magnolia 'Heaven Scent' blooms in late spring, enabling its delicate flowers to evade the worst frosts. The flowers are 10cm in length, and open in striking pink, fading to softer shades, but with red stripe down the centre. Magnolia 'Heaven Scent' flowers are richly fragrant, with a honey-like scent. This Magnolia grows slowly and, following each flowering, produces gorgeous deep green foliage. Height and spread: up to 10m (30').
