Description
The LINE Pandora 94 the perfect directional all-mountain powder ski designed for 50 on-piste and 50 off-piste LINEs Pandora series back again with the help of pro riders such as Hadley Hammer. In Hadleys words, youre never skiing the same snow conditions all day or all season long, so versatility the most important thing about a ski. With a 104mm waist, its wide enough to offer big mountain performance, offering maximum floatation on the deeper days. Its still comfortable getting on the edge and carving down groomers and around moguls, this an ideal ski for anyone who wants to get out on the hill as much as possible and know that this one ski wont let them down.Taking inspiration from the hugely successful relaunch of the Sick Day series last season, LINE started off the Pandora 104 with a 100 Aspen wood core and fibreglass reinforcement wrapped in their Capwall construction. This produces a ski thats surprisingly lightweight, easy to turn and durable, with excellent edge hold across all snow conditions because the sidewall builds over the edge of the ski. This also contributes to the flex of the ski, which all about versatility. underfoot and through most of the tail, the ski feels strong and supportive, able to remain stable at high speeds and offer a powerful exit to turns. Further, towards the tip of the ski, the flex softens and allows skiers to really drive the ski into fast-paced, agile turn shapes. Helped by the use of LINEs 5Cut technology, which blends five different sidecut shapes into one, this allows for a broad and dynamic range of turn shapes that can cater to a variety of skiing styles and turn shapes, perfect for switching up between on-piste carving and smearing turns in powder. The shape of the ski tip a big influence on the performance of the ski in soft snow. A tapered shape pushes the widest point of the ski back towards the binding, minimising the drag and the hooky effect that deeper snow can have and working with the rocker profile to provide float, resulting in a smooth surfing turn ability. Additionally, the tapered area of the ski features Thintip, where the wood core milled extra thin to lower swing weight and ease up handling.Magic Fingers are a technology that LINE developed to allow freeride skis to keep a low weight while maintaining the high-speed stability of heavier skis. Carbon stringers run from tip to tail absorbing vibrations so the ski can feel calm and predictable even at high speeds through the firm and choppy snow. Another benefit of the Magic Fingers tech the snappy feel that it adds to the skis flex. LINE Skis are known for making skis that have a playful personality, so they wanted to make sure that this was visible in the Pandora series. The rocker profile of the tip and tail loosens the ski, allowing riders to throw them sideways into slashes in soft snow, and the snap of the flex with those carbon filaments lets the ski pop well off piles of snow and natural features found off-piste in freeride skiing. All of these features combine to make a ski that handles a wide variety of conditions with ease and loads of performance- perfect for seasonnaires and any skiers looking to get the most out of every day they spend on the hill.
