Lightweight construction with soles developed by Michelin, the Diverge LT the perfect ski tour boot. The K2 Diverge Michelin Grip Walk a tour-ready ski boot using a traditional 3 piece shell design. The Diverge has a host of technology starting with its construction which uses a TPUGrillamid shell to reduce weight and to increase durability for freeride skiing. The Diverge has a wider fitting 102mm last width, which makes it ideal for those with higher volume feet or wanting a bit more space around the toes. The ribbed tongue allows for a smooth progressive flex for improved control and that eliminates uncomfortable pressure spots. This model comes with a stiff flex tongue rated at a 710 which makes it perfect for those looking for mix of response and playfulness inmost terrain. However, the tongue interchangeable and can be easily swapped out for softer or stiffer flexes at any time or completely removed for uphill touring sections for less weight and greater movement, an internal gaiter keeps the boot sealed. This particular shell utilises the new Tour Cuff, which incorporates a walk mode. This simple lever operated mechanism unlocks the cuff, allowing skier a greater range of motion for a more natural stride when youre not skiing. This walk mode easy to use and make these boots great for backcountry boot packing, hiking features in the park, strolling around town in search of street spots. Simply flip the lever up when you want to walk, then flip it down when you want to shred. Gripwalk outsoles which have been made by Michelin Tires are made out of a high grade polymer and a midgrip in the centre of the sole will keep your feet steady on unstable snow, ice, rock, or even the slippery sun terrace at your favourite aprs bar.The Diverge LT also comes with the industry-leading Intuition Pro Tour liners to create a truly personalised fit to the whole boot. This boot uses an original tongue liner design which helps to increase room around the toes but provides better grip across instep, reducing heel life and boosting responsiveness. The liner also includes a lacing hole system, removable external J-bar around the heel and a detachable cuff spoiler. These combined features help to find that perfect balance of a good fit and comfort.
