Iittala Ruutu Glass Vase
Description
Created by Ronan and Erwan Bouroullec. The Ruutu (which means Diamond in Finnish) vase might be simple in shape but it takes the most skilled craftsman in the glass factory to produce. The vases are mouth blown into a steel mould and polished by hand. Each vase is a simplified masterpiece which takes seven craftsmen and twenty-four hours to produce in the Iittala Glass factory.
