GT Grade Al Expert Gravel Bike 2020 With a classic colour and aluminium Triple Triangle design that harks back to the days of the classic GT Zaskar, the Grade Al Expert Gravel Bike is a versatile bike that can be used for commuting, gravel riding and back road exploring. There are plenty of mounts for luggage and bottles as well as mudguards so it can be used happily all year round. By lengthening the floating seatstays all the way up to the top tube rather than joining them to the seat tube, more compliance has been built into the frame, giving improved comfort off-road and less fatigue. In addition, the carbon fork also adds comfort whilst working with the thru-axle to keep the steering straight and true. Mechanical disc brakes provide the all-weather advantages of hydraulics with simpler maintenance, and the WTB wheels can be set up tubeless if so desired for fewer punctures, increased comfort and more grip thanks to the lower pressures that can be used. A 2x Shimano 105 drivetrain and FSA Vero Pro chainset combine to offer a wide range of gears with closer ratios than a 1x system can give, making finding the right cadence easier without sacrificing hill climbing ability.
