The speed, freedom and the views offered by quiet roads are all included free with every Avant - and you’ll love it.The Avant H60-D is built around Orbea’s Endurance Geometry which they use on the entire Avant range. This is designed to put you in a riding position that is comfortable for long days in the saddle on roads with varying surfaces. You will still be going fast but won’t be in the extreme stretched out riding position used by pro racers. As well as being more comfortable the Endurance geometry makes the bike easier to handle for riders new to road bikes and makes it easier to see where you are going and pick your way through traffic.Orbea have spent a lot of time on the Avant’s frame. The tubes are butted and hydroformed with smooth, polished welds to match the look of the monocoque frame. Internal cable routing has been carefully guided along the best path under the stem and through the head tube, with no rattle or rub, and is optimised for both traditional and electronic shifting systems. Proprietary headset spacers smooth airflow and offer easy adjustment.With the addition of disc brakes and the ability to take wider tyres, plus mudguard mounts on the frame and fork, the Avant H60-D makes a great all-round road bike. You could use it for commuting, as a winter training bike, take it on group rides or just use it for exploring your local roads.The H60-D is the entry level disc brake Avant and comes with a 2x8 speed Shimano Claris groupset giving 16 gears total.
