Description
Director Jacques Rivette may be lesser known to mainstream audiences than his contemporaries Truffaut and Godard, but in the world of film, he is just as influential. His 1988 film, GANG OF FOUR, which won the Berlin International Film Festival that year, fuses elements of drama and mystery. Four film students--studying under the tutelage of renowned film critic, Constance Dumas--move into a small house together. When one of them is brutally attacked and then rescued by a mystery person, she comes to realise that this stranger has some secret involvement with her three increasingly menacing housemates.
