The shape of the Women's Carbon G. Tornado Road Cycling Shoes sees a narrower heel, slimmer toe box and accentuated instep used, conforming to the specific anatomical characteristics of the female foot. A soft microfibre upper and 'Comfort-Fit' tongue mould to the foot for perfect comfort and with copious amounts of ventilation holes the Carbon G. Tornados ensure your feet stay fresh even after a hot summer ride. This excellent airflow is also complemented by the 'Transpiration Insole', it supports the foot during pedalling while micro-perforations let air circulate easily. The integrated heel-cup features both an anti-slip grip and an anti-tendonitis shape for an exceptional foothold and complete comfort as you apply the power. When it comes to getting a secure and comfortable fit, you can't beat the lightweight BOA L6 dial system. Applying even pressure over the whole foot, it allows for a snug and precise fit, perfectly matching the snug fit of the upper and also allows for greater air circulation across the front of the foot as there's no laces or straps to obstruct airflow. EPS Light Weight Full Carbon Sole 10.0 The EPS Light Weight Full Carbon Sole 10.0 is both lightweight and stiff, rated 10/12 on the Gaerne stiffness rating, allowing for optimal power transfer with minimal loss of energy. A slim profile also places your foot close to the pedal for the most efficient and natural pedal stroke. Two ventilation channels boost airflow to the foot when cycling while non-slip rubber inserts provide extra grip when you're off the bike and walking - the rear insert is replaceable.
