Description
The Booth's family business was in operation since the 1850s & was taken over by the Royal Doulton factory in 1981. The pattern on the Booths Real Old Willow series changed only slightly over all of those years from the initial Silicon China designation to a 9072 pattern number from 1906 through to the end of WWI, & then on to the pattern number 8025, with the slight change of a lack of gold trim during WWII. The pattern on Booths chinaware is extremely detailed & the gold is beautifully worked in. This is a lovely, great vintage trio a= comprising tea / coffee cup, saucer & plate. Stamped A 8025 pattern & with the Booths Real Old Willow stamp Approximate Dimensions Diameter cup : 9 cm / 3.5 Saucer : 14 cm / 6 Plate : 17 cm / 6.75 Condition The blue is vibrant & the white is clear & bright. The glaze on a great & still shiny & the gold detailing is only very slightly worn.
