I've always been captivated by the beauty of waterfalls. I love the way the water flows & cascades over rocks & boulders, creating a soothing sound & sense of peace & calm. Ever since I got into landscape photography, I knew that I wanted to capture the beauty of waterfalls through my lens. Early on I realized that taking a good photo of a waterfall was not easy. My first attempts failed to capture the true essence of the waterfalls. Frustrated but determined, I decided to seek help from people who knew how to do this well. in workshop after workshop, I got better at choosing the proper camera settings - & shutter speed in particular - for the job. Shutter speed is the length of time that your camera's shutter stays open, & determines how much light enters the camera & how motion is captured. Shutter speed is what really affects the appearance of a waterfall in a photograph. If you use a fast shutter speed, you'll freeze the motion of the water, which can result in a photo that looks static & lifeless. On the other hand, if you use too slow a shutter speed, the water can look like a thick milkshake! Just the right shutter speed can perfectly capture the motion of the water & create a beautiful, silky effect. More details are below. PRINTING & SHIPPING DETAILS There are a variety of ways to print my images. 1) Premium Photo Paper Prints A high-quality, professional paper print. Sharp, vivid, & rich color sets this apart from a casual photo print: you'll feel like you're there! I prefer for my photos to be printed on luster/lustre paper -instead of glossy - as I find luster papers to be less susceptible to fingerprints & other handling issues. They are also less susceptible to glare from light than glossy papers. Luster photo prints are available in 8x10 inches, 11x14 inches, or 16x20 inches. They are designed to be placed in a glass frame, which can be purchased separately. The estimated delivery time for printing, assembling, packing, & shipping is around 10 days. 2) Ready-To Hang Canvas Prints These do not require any assembly: they come out of the shipping box finished & ready to hang with a simple nail or two in the wall. 1.5-inch thick wooden stretcher bars give the canvas shape, similar to how an oil painting is traditionally assembled. There are no staples or unseemly lines visible on the sides (this gives them a more beautiful look on your walls). I offer prints split into 3 even panels when I know this will work well for a particular photo. This is a modern, stunning, & relatively economical way, to cover larger wall spaces.
