Description
The pair of turquoise blue & pink chalkware birds are in nice 1930's-1940's vintage condition. They are primitively made. There are tiny spots of color loss here & there & some mild discoloration. One bird has black eyes & beak & the other has gray/silver eyes & beak. Both bird's beaks have a more rounded look which appear to be how they were made. The silver beak bird has a chip on the back as shown in photo which doesn't show from the front. There is some slight roughness on the back edges on both. There are holes on the back that could be used for hanging on a nail or hook. The birds measure 4 - 4 1/4 in. long & 3 7/8 - 4 in. across the tips of wings.
