The bottom layer is painted the color of your choice. If you don't see the color you want, message me. The top layer has your text cut out of it so the color on the bottom layer shows through. The layered effect gives dimension & shadows to the letters, setting it apart from flat painted signs. The cats are flat across the bottom to rest atop your door/ledge/baseboard. Lightweight signs can attach to your wall using doubled over masking tape or Command type picture tape (not included). For indoor use only. Reclining cat (Marcy) measures about 9.25 tall x 18.75 wide. It weighs about 6 ounces. Sample shown is natural finish with purple text. Climbing cat (Tootsie) measures about 17 tall x 16.75 wide.
