A charming genuine vintage Copper Planter, Jardinière, Flower Box or Plant Pot. The rectangular copper planter has rounded ends & ann attractive ridged design. Has round metal handles at either end. The iron metal handle is securely fixed to the copper pan with iron rivets. Has a flared base rim. The Copper Jardinière feels good & solid with a heavy stable base. The attractive copper planter was handmade by a skilled craftsman. Hard to date, but could be 1920s / 30s when these items were fashionable. Comfortably fit three small plant pots or two large ones. The handmade copper planter is approx. 28.5 cm (11 1/4 in) long, & is 15.5cm (6 1/8 in) wide & 10.5 cm (4 1/8 in) high. Weighs 445 g (1 lb 3.4 oz). in good reliable, usable condition. Look great as part of a display on the windowsill with verdant green ferns, Spring bulbs & other types of houseplants. Can be part of a contemporary or country style décor. Look great as part of a display. The copper planter is still water-tight, with a lovely mellow coppery patina. The vintage hand crafted copper Jardinière is in its original vintage condition. The copper finish is good with some superficial tarnishing, dings & blemishes on the copper finish as would be expected with an item of this great age & pre loved status. The iron rings are rusted.
