Vintage Chicago artist Edna Arnow stoneware pottery chalice or goblet, slightly curving top lip, glossy & spotty dark green/yellowish glaze on the top, matte brown bottom, black top edge, characteristic organic textured finish, signed A underneath. Please note that the last photo shows the entire collection (all available in my Etsy shop), however each is being sold individually. For more than 40 years, Edna Arnow made stoneware pottery in the basement of her house in Chicago's Rogers Park neighborhood on the North Side. Largely self-taught, she became a well-known & respected craftswoman in the Midwest. She developed distinctive textured glazes & clay bodies. in very good vintage condition with some minuscule imperfections. Please view all photos & message me with any questions.
