A striking bud vase from Caithness Glass designed by Domhnall O'Broin in 1961. these are terrific examples of mid century Scottish glass. This vase is made in a lilac Alexandrite crystal also known as neodymium. The glass appears lilac in daylight & turns to a pale blue under fluorescent lights. this vase stands at 180mm tall. it is in excellent vintage condition.
