It is covered with a velvet velour fabric with a Pink Paradise birds pattern on a beautiful purple background. This lampshade has been paired with an ambient mirror gold lining, perfect to add some warming style to your home. Photographed is a 30 cm drum lampshade & a 15cm lampshade which has been made to fit a standard / table lampshade. Size 30 cm diameter bottom & top ring & 21cm tall. Available to order in the following sizes - 40cm, 30cm,20cm & 15cm. As all of our shades are handmade, each one is completely unique & may differ slightly to the one that is shown in the photographs. The shade is suitable for both UK & European usage. with the addition of a removable converter plug which is included. Please be advised that no light permeates through the sides of the shade. The light is directional, so will reflect off the gold foil giving you a beautifully warm ambient glow at the top & bottom of the shade. The amount of light given from the lampshade will therefore depend on the size of the shade you order ie: the bigger the shade, the more light you will receive. Safety - The frames & PVC Fabric backing have been tested & have passed the glow wire test, carried out by the lighting association, England. We recommend the use of low energy bulbs with your lampshade as they use less energy & are cool to the touch. (40 watts or less).
