Antique English Corn Brothers pottery tile decorated with an amber poppy & its whiplash leaves. The tile measures approximately 6 x 3 inches & has the typical Corn Brothers moulded back with a 'C' to one corner. The condition is excellent with no damage or repairs. Please see page 67, fig 1158 of the excellent book ‘Art Nouveau Tiles with More Style’ by Robert Smith where an example of this design can be seen but by the tile maker Henry Richards. Several tile makers made this design. All my tiles are antique or vintage & not modern reproductions. I am happy to ship worldwide & happy to combine shipping/postage.
