This is a full size Spurtle simply designed & crafted from black walnut hardwood locally sourced in Berks County, PA. This spurtle is approximately 12 inches long by 2.5 inches at the widest point with several natural color & grain variances to take pleasure in. Great for mixing & stirring cake batter, in addition to doughs, rice mixtures, & soups or stews. This full size Spurtle is great as a gift for a hostess/host, housewarming, friend, or an addition to your own kitchen. The simple & practical design pairs nicely with the Farmhouse, Primitive, Minimalist, or Modern kitchen dcor. Along with this spoon, all of our spoons are smoothed down with a wet sanding at 1200 grit with a rinse in between each sanding to raise the grain for the next sanding & finished with a coat of organic flaxseed oil. Like all wooden spoons, they will dry with wear, as this becomes obvious, we are pleased to provide a small container of spoon butter, to help rejuvenate the spoon to its original luster, with every order.
