Thanks as always R&R xx A pretty floral transfer printed blue & white salad plate Beautiful blue & white florals with a swag & scroll detail to its edges Pretty country cottage styling with a lovely scalloped rim Dating from c1940s produced by Swinnertons, Hanley. Stoke-on-Trent in the Kent pattern, marked to base in good but used vintage condition, ready to use, gift or display Why I think you'll love them: This pretty salad / side plate with its gorgeous aged looks has gentle 'tea-staining' that charmingly adds to its sense of history. It is easy to incorporate into a vintage or more modern setting as blue & white accents look effortless on any table & are super easy to mix & match! Good to know: Always a classic, blue & white 'cottagecore' prints such as this add pattern & interest when used as display pieces or as relaxed pieces of tableware. This lovely old example by Swinnerton's is in the relatively hard to find Kent pattern. Condition: in good vintage condition, though clearly showing signs of use. It has all-over surface crazing that is gently 'tea-stained' with age, the result is graceful & rather lovely, though a little discoloured. It has one heavier utensil mark to its front face but it doesn't detract from the design. It is free from chips, nibbles or any damage. Approximate Measurements: 8 / 20.5cm Diameter The Small Print: All the items I stock have had a unique & interesting past, are pre-loved & so it is very important to note that these are not sold 'as new'.
