A patent print poster of a patent granted in 1961 to rocket pioneer Wernher von Braun. The patent was submitted on 3 December 1959, & granted by the United States Patent Office on 10 July 1961. Von Braun was director of the NASA Marshall Spaceflight Center during the 1960s, & oversaw the development of the giant Saturn V rocket that carried Apollo astronauts to the moon.
