I do not know the name of the photographer or if the friend captured this moment, but I do apologize if the original photo belongs to someone else. I just thought it was such a tender moment between mother & baby & wanted to capture it, put it in color & paint it in oils. The original was a 30 x 36 & I kept in a private collection for a number of years. I create my paintings from my studio in Lake Tahoe, California. The original was sold in a gallery. I am always thrilled when someone wants to spend time with my paintings in their lives as much as I love to paint them.
