An unusual early 19th century antique Welsh oak & mahogany chest of drawers having an arrangement of two small mahogany fronted drawers above a chest of two short & three long oak drawers, flanked by quarter pilasters, having panelled sides, & raised on turned feet. The drawers have each been lined with various Victorian wall papers. Particularly good colour & patina throughout with good authentic wear. An utterly charming piece of furniture. Item Ref; M-1467 . DIMENSIONS: Height – 122cm / Width – 121cm / Depth – 52cm . CONDITION REPORT: in good antique condition throughout with some signs of age & wear. Some general surface wear throughout including marks & staining to the top (pictured), but overall, particularly good. Structurally solid & sound. There are some losses to the edges of the drawer fronts (pictured) but this adds to the charm. The paper to the inside of the drawers is worn but still charming. No key present for the drawers. Our carpenter inspects, repairs, & restores all our items, so you can have full confidence that what you buy from us is home ready!
