Pair of vintage Japanese pottery tea cups (Yunomi) of Karatsu ware (Karatsu yaki). Decorated with weping willow design hand painted underglaze. The style of decoration is called E-Karatsu (Pictured Karatsu). It's EXCELLENT work. Made by Masuda Tokei of Enichi kiln (Enichi-gama). The potter mark are stamped on the bottom. Karatsu ware (Karatsu yaki) is a style of Japanese pottery produced traditionally in & around Karatsu, Saga Prefecture. Condition As show in the pictures, it's VERY GOOD condition. Have a tiny chips on the large cup bottom, please refer from the last picture. Size Small cup : Max diameter 6 cm. x Height 8 cm. Large cup : Max diameter 6.5 cm. x Height 8.5 cm.
