A wonderful 1970s H&R Johnson tile designed & decorated by Kenneth Clark (1922-2012). Clark along with his wife Ann Wynn Reeves were at the forefront of British mid-century tile design. This amazing 'reactive' glaze tile has a vibrant orange & yellow pattern. The thick bubbly glaze is reminiscent of West German 'fat lava' ceramics of the 60s/70s.
