My handmade pineapple wall hanging is entitled Sweet Maui Pineapple & is made on the island of Maui, Hawaii, at my studio Ceramic Designs by Albert. The design is a relief design giving it a distinctive 3D appearance. The ceramic also has a spectacular array of colors, creating unique one-of-a-kind designs that will be sure to complement any entranceway, living room, bathroom, office, or kitchen decor. My ceramics will endure the outdoors freezing or desert temperatures. It measures approximately 10.5x 7, weight 1.5 lbs. I attached a durable wire hook on the backside for safe hanging. The surface is an exceptional glaze finish consisting of about five to seven glazes colors. The temperature to melt these glazes needs to reach 2135 plus degrees to melt the glazes to their magnificent colors. The high temperatures also cause the glaze to move about freely, allowing additional colors to come forth during firing; this allows each piece to be distinct in its remarkable appearance. The clay body combines porcelain & stoneware clay; porcelain gives the glazes a vibrant shine luster surface, & the stoneware provides the clay with incredible durability.
