Juno is an ancient Roman goddess. A daughter of Saturn, she is the wife of Jupiter & the mother of Mars, Vulcan, Bellona & Juventas. She is the Roman equivalent of Hera, Queen of the gods. in Greek mythology, her sacred animal was the white peacock. She is also the Roman Goddess of love & marriage. A special thoughtful Wedding Gift. Hand painted in Watercolour by me onto the original black & white Antique print Your print will be Giclee printed directly from that original watercolored image. Onto smooth Watercolour paper. Juno Goddess of Love & Marriage is set in an oval, on an elegant 'Eau de Nil' background, all the other Gods will match this colour. I have painted them with the same shades, so that they will display perfectly grouped together. Originally hand painted in Watercolour by me on the original antique print for my shop Swanborough Prints. Then Gicle printed onto Acid Free Watercolour quality paper. Juno is set in an oval on an elegant 'Robin Egg Blue ' background, all the other Gods will match this colour. I originally painted them with the same shade, so that they will display perfectly grouped together. We have left a 3/4 inch wide white border.
